Willie Nelson Headlines Outlaw Musical Festival At Merriweather Post Pavilion Saturday

Tickets are still available to catch Willie Nelson and other artists at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Howard County in September.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Tickets are still available to several concerts planned for September at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Howard County including the Outlaw Music Festival Saturday with gates opening at 3 p.m. and the show starting at 4:30 p.m. The musical festival features Willie Nelson, The Avett Brothers, Zach Bryan, Larkin Poe and Brittney Spencer.

Then on Sept. 21, the Pet Shop Boys and New Order will take the stage with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. and the show starting at 7 p.m. This concert was originally scheduled for Sept. 15 and previously purchased tickets will be honored for this new concert date.

All Merriweather concessions stands are now cashless. Credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Cash is accepted at the merchandise stand.

Proof of vaccination and the wearing of face masks is no longer required to attend events at Merriweather Post Pavilion. However, if a performer decides that they would like a vaccine or mask policy in place for their show, the Pavilion will follow their lead. Individual show policies will be posted on the website and communicated to ticket holders ahead of the show.

All bags are subject to a thorough search upon entry. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has a right to refuse entry. Bags cannot be larger than 13 inches by 15 inches. No backpacks of any size are allowed.

What items are prohibited?

  • No bottles, glass, cans, coolers or baskets.
  • No outside beverages except one empty or factory-sealed water bottle allowed per customer (refer to show for exceptions).
  • No professional cameras (with a removable lens) or recording devices.
  • No alcohol, grills or glass containers are permitted in the parking areas.
  • No laser pointers, weapons or selfie sticks.
  • No lightable tobacco product, vapes or electronic cigarettes. Howard County law prohibits smoking in public places.
  • No pets.

Personal food items in a clear, disposable, non-glass container are permitted (one per guest). Additionally, one empty or factory-sealed water bottle is allowed per customer.

Mobile tickets will be accepted on a mobile phone only. Printed out QR codes will not be allowed entry to the venue.
