Owen Brown Giant Gives Grassroots $1 for Each Bloomin' for Good Sold
Campaign runs through the month of August at the food store on Cradlerock Way
Giant Food in the Owen Brown Village Center on Cradlerock Way in Columbia is donating $1 to the Grassroots Day Resource Center for every Bloomin’ for Good Bouquet it sells during August. The bouquets are $12.99. The Day Resource Center provides food, clothing, showers, laundry and access to county and state services to individuals who are homeless.
Giant Food is one of the largest contributors to the Center with in-kind donations of $3,000 to $5,000 worth of fresh food every week from its Fresh Food Warehouse. Grassroots is grateful for this partnership, as the demands of those in need are higher than ever this year.
