Parking Limited, Sidewalk Closed For Pond Project

Crews will be shutting down a stretch of sidewalk and limiting parking for a stormwater pond repair project.

ELKRIDGE, MD — A construction project to repair the Willowood Pond stormwater management facility located behind 6347 to 6333 Arbor Way in Elkridge will start Jan. 5.

During the project, the sidewalk between 6347 and 6351 Arbor Way will be closed to pedestrians and parking restrictions will be in place near the construction entrance next to 6351 Arbor Way.

The project calls for replacing the existing principal spillway and riser structure with a concrete principal spillway pipe and riser, as well as grading work to the pond. Weather permitting, the project should wrap up by mid to late August 2026.
