Pedestrian Killed on Interstate 95 Near Laurel

A pedestrian was reportedly killed on Interstate 95 near Laurel on Wednesday.

The man was walking on I-95 near Brooklyn Bridge Road in Prince George’s County, The Washington Post reported.

The victim was walking in the lanes on I-95 north around 11:40 a.m., according to WTOP.

Traffic on I-95 Wednesday was congested between MD 212 and MD 198 for much of the afternoon as officials investigated the crash, according to WNEW.

At 4:55 p.m., transportation officials reported the incident had cleared.
