Pet Missing After Fire Damages Laurel Home
One person living in the home has been accounted for while a pet remains missing after a fire broke out Wednesday afternoon in Laurel.
LAUREL, MD — A fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home located in the 9000 block of Old Scaggsville Road in Laurel.
Firefighters who arrived first on the scene reported finding flames extending to the roof. The fire was quickly brought under control, according to the Howard County Fire Department.
While the resident living in the home has been accounted for, one pet remains missing, the fire department stated. No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported.
