Proposed Ice Rink, Athletic Center Meeting Allows Residents To Weigh In

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The community can weigh in on the proposed Meadowbrook Athletic Center Expansion Project that includes an indoor ice rink, additional bathrooms and other amenities.

The public information session, hosted by the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, will be held March 4 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Ellicott Mills Middle School, 4445 Montgomery Road, in Ellicott City.

The county reviewed potential two site locations and will present their findings as part of the presentation.

According to Keller Bros., the Meadowbrook Sports Complex construction project also includes a 32,000-square-foot indoor sports complex with dividable basketball and volleyball courts, administrative areas, lockers rooms and building services.
