Public Forum 'Hate Has No Place' Planned For Nov. 8 In Howard County
The community's invited to attend a public forum called Hate Has No Place on Nov. 8 in Columbia.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A special public forum called Hate Has No Place has been planned for Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Harriet Tubman Cultural Center in Columbia.
The forum encourages members to ask questions of representatives who address hate bias incidents and hate crimes in Howard county at all levels.
Panel members will include Kim Phillips, Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice; Major E. Greg Phillips Deputy for the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center; Howard County State’s Attorney Rich Gibson; Alyson Mitchel, HCPSS Coordinator of School Culture and Climate; Captain Phillip Mullinix of the Howard County Police Department; and Yolanda F. Sonnier, administrator of the Howard County Office of Human Rights & Equity.
