Residences at Vantage Point Hosts Series on Planning for the Future
Retirement community in Downtown Columbia presents expert advice on estate planning in free program by Matthis Law set for Oct. 31

Residences at Vantage Point is hosting a new Compass Seminar Series, including informative sessions designed to help people plan for the future during retirement.
“Optimizing Your Estate Plan” is the subject of the last session presented by Joseph Mathis of Mathis Law on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1:30 p.m. Topics will include:
- Why your estate plan should change as your life changes
- How changes in the tax laws and tax codes could affect your estate
- Ways to ensure the important people in your life will be cared for
- Learn how to fulfill your philanthropic and personal legacy goals

Residences at Vantage Point is home to over 250 residents. It was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. Managed by Life Care Services, the community includes a variety of residential living arrangements from studio to two-bedroom deluxe apartments.
