Residents Can Testify At Upcoming Virtual Budget Hearing

The second hearing for Howard County's fiscal year 2027 budget will be virtual March 3. Residents can sign up to testify online.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Residents can express opinions at the second budget hearing for fiscal year 2027 planned for March 3.

The budget hearing will be held virtually starting at 6 p.m.

Residents can sign up online to speak at the hearing by going to the county’s budget testimony registration website. Speakers must sign up individually and one person cannot sign up for others. Individual testimony will be limited to three minutes and group testimony is limited to five minutes.

“Our budget is a reflection of our community’s shared priorities and this hearing provides another wonderful opportunity for our residents to learn more about the county budget, offer input and make their voices heard as we work to develop the county’s FY27 budget,” Ball said. “I’m confident that when we work together as a community to set our spending priorities, we will weather challenges together come out stronger in the end.”
