Reward Offered For Information In Columbia Shooting Death: Police

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department is offering a reward for information in an Oct. 4 fatal shooting that happened in the 9600 block of Basket Ring Road at approximately 2:37 p.m. Police were told that a someone had been shot outside a home in that vicinity.

Juan Michael Ross, 23, of Jessup, was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are looking into the possibility the incident may have been drug-related and whether the involved parties were known to one another.
