Robber Showed Taser At Gateway Overlook: Police
Police said a robbery suspect used a Taser to ward off an employee at the Lowe's off Route 175.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A suspected robber at the Lowe's in Gateway Overlook showed he had a Taser recently before taking off, according to police. Officials said the man with the Taser and an accomplice robbed the store over the weekend.
An employee had seen two men taking tools at the home improvement store and confronted them outside the business in the 8200 block of Gateway Overlook Drive.
When the worker confronted the suspects, he said one of them showed that he was in possession of a Taser, before the men left the scene, the Howard County Police Department reported.

Nobody was injured in the incident, which took place at 6:40 p.m. on March 3, officials said.
The suspects were described as two black men, one of whom was 50 years old with gray hair. Both were wearing dark clothing at the time of the robbery.
