Salsa Dancing Cop Spices Up Columbia Crosswalk
A Howard County police officer can't resist the music being performed nearby and gives in to the pull by salsa dancing while on duty.
COLUMBIA, MD — A Howard County police officer is lighting up social media with his smooth moves caught on camera. The officer was directing traffic outside the Merriweather Post Pavilion and decided to spice things up with a little salsa dancing in the crosswalk.
John Richard Mercier was performing across the street and the strains of his music apparently beckoned to the officer. He sways his hips and grooves to the beat while directing traffic. Even funnier is when the cop convinced others to join in on the fun as they entered the crosswalk with him.
