Save the Date: Wilde Lake Old-Fashioned Family Picnic
Wilde Lake Community Association is sponsoring the Third Annual Old-Fashioned Family Picnic on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015.

Save the date for the Third Annual Wilde Lake Old-Fashioned Family Picnic! The event, which is open to all residents and community members, will be held at Wilde Lake Park, Hyla Brook Road, from 11am-3pm. All are invited to join in with neighbors, friends and family for this fun-filled event featuring FREE activities including face painting for children, moon bounce with slide, children’s crafts and watermelon eating contest. New this year will be neighborhood corn hole games!
Live entertainment will include performances by the Wilde Lake High School Marching Band, Wilde Lake Middle School Jazz Band, Wilde Lake High School student bands and local favorites “The Dixon Ulmer Band” and “Any The Wiser.”
Bring a picnic basket, beverages, blankets, chairs and/or tables to enjoy an old-fashioned picnic at the park. For families on the run, food will be available for purchase from a wide variety of food trucks & vendors including CookieRide, Curry & Kabob, La Pearl Waffles, Kona Ice, Madame BBQ and Upslidedown Dave.

The event will also be the start of a Soldiers Care Packages collection drive. Please bring items to send to soldiers overseas such as: non-perishable food snacks, personal care items, batteries or puzzle books. All items will be given to Running Brook resident, Mrs. Vivian “Millie” Bailey who collects donations for care packages which she mails to the soldiers.
