Second Virtual HoCo Rainbow Conference Planned For May 15
Registration is now open for the event offered through the Howard County Public School System.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Registration is now open for a free conference designed to raise visibility and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and provide education and support to the HCPSS community. The second virtual HoCo Rainbow Conference will be held May 15 from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The conference will feature a keynote session with Mikah Meyer, founder of Outside Safe Space. Other speakers include author and trans activist Mimi Lemay, Maryland House Majority Leader Eric Luedtke and representatives from the Matthew Shepard and Tyler Clementi foundations.
Registrants may select up to eight sessions among 26 concurrent sessions offered under the following topics:

While the conference is virtual, capacity is limited and registration is required. Register by completing this online form. During the week prior to the conference, registered attendees will receive an email from pride@hcpss.org with their conference schedule, as well as the links for each session.
