An investigation is underway after a bullet casing was discovered in the 10700 block of Bridlerein Terrace. Officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired at 5:22 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, when they found a bullet casing in the area. Nobody was injured.

Three youths were in a vacant apartment without permission and then left the scene, an employee of the apartment complex told police. Nothing was reported stolen from the residence in the 8700 block of Cloudleap Court. Police said the burglary occurred at 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

A 2007 Ford F-250 with Maryland tags was stolen from the 9100 block of Gracious End Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

Although a vehicle was broken into in the 9000 block of Snowden River Parkway on Tuesday, Jan. 15, police said nothing was reported stolen.

Gloves and cash were stolen from Mercadito Express in a break-in overnight between Sunday, Jan. 13, and Monday, Jan. 14. The front glass door was broken in the burglary.
