Special Education Candidate Forum In HoCo Planned
Multiple agencies advocating for those with special educational needs are coming together for the school board candidate forum on May 30.
From the Howard County Board of Education: The Howard County Autism Society (HCAS), the Howard County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC), and the Howard County Public School System's Family Support and Resource Center are proudly hosting a Howard County Board of Education Candidate Forum with a special education focus.
When: May 30th, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm
Where: Howard Community College, Duncan Hall building, Kittleman Multi-purpose room, DH100

Our format consists of candidate opening remarks, 3 predetermined questions for groups of candidates, and rotating break out sessions that allow tables of small groups of parents, grandparents, and community members to ask individual questions of candidates.
We hosted a similar forum in 2015 that was well attended by our community.
