Special Ops Team Deployed in Clarksville
Have you seen special operations teams around the area? Howard County emergency officials say not to be alarmed.
CLARKSVILLE, MD – Special operations personnel may be visible in the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area this week, emergency officials said in an announcement Wednesday.
The group is conducting training, in an exercise geared toward finding a lost person, officials reported.
While first responders will be training throughout the trail system, authorities said that their vehicles will be near the entrance to the trail on South Wind Circle and Misty Top Pass.

Hours for the trainings are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, to Friday, March 25.
