Stabbing Suspect Arrested After Roommates' Argument Turns Fatal: Police
A 26-year-old has been arrested in connection to the fatal stabbing of his roommate during an argument, Howard County Police say.
COLUMBIA, MD — Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal stabbing that happened Saturday night in Columbia.
Howard County Police were called to a property in the 7600 block of Woodpark Lane at approximately 1:40 a.m. for a reported stabbing inside an apartment. Officers found resident Jaelon Minor, 25, who as pronounced dead at the scene, the police department stated.
Through their investigation, police learned that Minor had been in a fight with his roommate, identified as Donavan Townsend, 26, who stabbed Minor then fled the scene. Police found Townsend and arrested him. He's currently in the booking process, police stated.
