Stolen Christmas Trees Recovered By Howard County Officers
Christmas trees and other greenery were reported stolen from the Home Depot in Columbia. Officers have since recovered the holiday items.
COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County police officers responded to a call about two men swiping items from the nursery area of the Home Depot located in the 9000 block of Snowden River Parkway Dec. 1. On Dec. 5, officers shared on Facebook that they had recovered the stolen Christmas trees and arrested Mark Kelly, 48, of Brooklyn, and Jeffery Shifflett, 42, of Pasadena. Both have been charged with burglary and theft.
