HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The new student member of the board elected to serve the Howard County Public School System this upcoming school year hails from River Hill High School.

Li emphasized accessibility, equity and diversity in his campaign. He also identified eliminating mid-term and final exams, improving transportation, expanding mental health and athletic training support for students, and enhancing opportunities for student voices to be heard, according to the school district.
