Be Weather Aware: A Tornado Watch Has Been Issued For Howard County Friday
Howard County residents should remain weather aware Friday as a tornado watch has been issued for the area.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A tornado watch is in effect until 7 p.m. for Howard County. The tornado watch also affects Baltimore City.
According to WBAL, a tornado warning was issued at 12:40 p.m. for northwest Washington County and east-central Allegany County. At 12:48 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was identified over Hancock, moving east at 55 mph.
At 12:54 p.m., the tornado warning for Allegany and Washington counties was canceled, followed by Garret county at 1:02 p.m.
