Traffic Alert: Detours in Place on Phelps Luck Drive
Crews will be performing repairs on the road Monday, according to county public works officials.
Due to utility repair work, part of Phelps Luck Drive is closed Monday in Columbia, officials report.
A detour will be in place between Halflight Garth and Luckpenny Place/Emberend Terrace, according to a statement Howard County government issued Monday morning.
The detour will take drivers onto High Tor Hill and Tamar Drive, the statement said.

There was no estimate as to when repair work would be complete.

Other road projects Monday in Columbia include sidewalk repairs on Green Dragon Court, High Hay Drive and Wood Elves Way; and ramp upgrades on Hingston Downs, Hurstborne Road, Lambeth Court, Oakhurst Drive and Stirling Bridge Drive.
