Lanes Reopen on MD 100 at Long Gate Parkway

Overturned tractor-trailer temporarily shut down part of Route 100 Wednesday morning in Howard County, police say.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – After a tractor-trailer flipped Wednesday morning, officials said all eastbound lanes of MD 100 were closed for several hours.

By 8:30 a.m., the State Highway Administration reported that Route 100 east had reopened in the area of Long Gate Parkway.

Earlier, a tractor-trailer had overturned on Route 100 at Executive Park Drive, according to the Howard County Police Department, which advised taking MD 175 or Montgomery Road as alternate routes.

The single-vehicle crash was reported around 3:30 a.m., according to state transportation authorities.
