Truck Kills Driver In Columbia

COLUMBIA, MD - A man was killed by his truck in Columbia, according to the Howard County Police Department.

Richard Dennis Wright, 60, of Aberdeen Avenue in Baltimore, had gotten out of his Ford F-150 but had not put it in park, police said, causing the vehicle to roll back on him.

When authorities were called to the 10000 block of Wincopin Circle in Columbia around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, officials said they found the man deceased at the scene.

Nobody else was involved in the collision, and traffic was not impacted, according to police.
