Underground Pipe Rehabilitation Project Starts Monday In Howard County

Officials do not anticipate traffic delays or detours stemming from a construction project that starts Monday updating existing sewer pipes.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A construction project to rehabilitate existing sewer services located along Marylee Lane, Glen Hanna Drive and connecting side streets in Scaggsville will begin Monday.

The existing sewer pipes will be stabilized using cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP lateral lining) to extend the overall usefulness of the pipes. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by late March 2023.

While the project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic, signs will be posted along Marylee Lane and Glen Hanna Drive near the project site to alert drivers of the work.
