Unwanted, Unused Medicines Accepted Oct. 29 At Howard County General Hospital

Howard County General Hospital pharmacy staff will accept and dispose of unwanted, unused medications Oct. 29.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County General Hospital will accept and dispose of unused, expired and unwanted medicines Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on National Prescription Drug Take-back Day held in the fall.

The hospital’s pharmacy staff, wearing masks and protective equipment, will hold a drive-through to collect tablets, capsules, liquids, creams, e-cigarettes, vape pens and needles for safe, secure, environmentally friendly disposal at the main entrance to the hospital, 5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia.
