Vantage Point Presents Series of Making the Most of Retirement Living
Free session on "The Upside of Rightsizing" is set for Thursday, March 9

Residences at Vantage Point is hosting a new Compass Seminar Series, including informative sessions designed to help people plan for the future during retirement.
“The Upside of Rightsizing,” will be held Thursday, March 9, 1:30 p.m. Presented by RE/MAX Solutions Realtor Karen Gatzke, its topics include:
- What is Rightsizing?
- What is most important to me right now?
- What do you want to accomplish?
- Does your current home meet your needs today?
- How to take the first steps toward rightsizing your life
Karen Lawlor and Beth Ditman of the Wendy Slaughter Team will present “The State of Today’s Real Estate Market” on Tuesday, March 14, 1:30 p.m. Topics will include:

“Optimizing Your Estate Plan” is the subject of the Thursday, March 23, 1:30 p.m., session presented by Mark Bobotek of Golden Oak Elder Law P.C. Topics will include:
- Why your estate plan should change as your life changes
- How changes in the tax laws and tax codes could affect your estate
- Ways to ensure the important people in your life will be cared for
- Learn how to fulfill your philanthropic and personal legacy goals
The final session in the Compass Seminar Series is “The Finances of Senior Living” presented by Jeremy Dvorak with Potomac Financial Group on Tuesday, March 28, 1:30 p.m. Topics will include:

- Tools to manage your income and assets
- How to plan for future health care costs
- How do know if you can afford to live at a retirement community

Residences at Vantage Point is home to over 250 residents, all of whom are fully vaccinated. It was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. Managed by Life Care Services, the community includes a variety of residential living arrangements from studio to two-bedroom deluxe apartments.
