Vendors Needed For 16th Annual GreenFest In Howard County
Apply now to be a vendor at the 16th Annual GreenFest, which will be April 15 at Howard Community College in Columbia.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Vendor applications are being accepted for Howard County’s annual GreenFest, which returns for its 16th year on April 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Howard Community College’s Science, Engineering and Technology Building, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia.
Last year’s event drew hundreds of attendees and featured native plant vendors, compost bin giveaways and document shredding.
“GreenFest is an opportunity for our community to come together, and be empowered to protect our environment and planet for current and future generations,” said Howard County Executive Calvin Ball. “There are numerous residents, businesses and organizations here in Howard County and our region who are innovating, advocating and paving the way for the critical changes necessary to preserve our world."
Each exhibit space includes a five-foot table and two chairs. Cost to all vendors is $35 per table, with an additional $10 late fee charged to those who apply after Feb. 24. Sponsorship opportunities for $100 also are available. Cost includes two tables and special mention in the GreenFest brochure and on the GreenFest website.
GreenFest is open to all vendors and exhibitors that highlight environmentally conscious products, services, activities and opportunities for community involvement; however, preference will be given to local businesses and organizations that promote environmentally friendly goods and services. Additionally, there will be a limit of 50 indoor vendors/exhibitors for the event, so interested vendors/exhibitors are encouraged to apply now to secure their opportunity to showcase their green at the 2023 GreenFest, organizers noted.
Vendor and sponsorship applications are available on the GreenFest website at www.hcgreenfest.org. Applications must be submitted electronically.
