Victim Who Died In Apparent Fall From D.C. Pier From Columbia
Taylor Reeves apparently had fallen from a pier in Southeast entertainment district.

A 50-year-old Columbia woman who died Wednesday evening after apparently falling from a pier in Washington, D.C., has been identified as government contractor Taylor Reeves.
Police said Reeves apparently had fallen into the Washington Channel about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday near the Wharf on Maine Avenue in Southwest.
The cause of death has not been determined but police called it accidental.

The Washington Post reports Reeves, who held a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University in physics and math, had worked for the Government Accountability Office and most recently, as a government contractor for the Federal Aviation Administration.
