Virtual Job Fair March 2 For Howard County Employers, Job Seekers

The event is sponsored by the Howard County Chamber and the Howard County Office of Workforce Development.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Virtual Job Fair will take place March 2 with two sessions from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Howard County Chamber and the Howard County Office of Workforce Development, the event aims to pair job seekers with potential employers.

Businesses that would like to participate should register for the event on EventBrite. Job seekers can upload their resumes in advance and can register here.

According to the state of Maryland, in November 2020, Maryland's unemployment rate was 6.8 percent with more than 212,000 residents unemployed. In 2019, Howard County's unemployment rate hovered at 2.7 percent.
