Virtual Youth Mental Health First Aid Class Planned For April 21

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County General Hospital will hold a Youth Mental Health First Aid class April 21 via Zoom from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Participants will learn how to help teens ages 12 to 18 who may be experiencing a mental health or addiction crisis through a self-paced online course followed by a virtual instructor-led class.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is free to community members and $25 to those attending on behalf of an employer. Register at YouthMentalHealthFirstAid2023.events.hcgh.hopkinsmedicine.org.
