Water Outage in Columbia Could Last Hours
Traffic may also be affected, Howard County government reports.
Parts of Columbia are without water Friday afternoon due to a valve break, according to the Howard County Department of Public Works.
Areas northwest and southeast of MD 216 and US 29 may be affected, the department reported. Crystal Drive residents may also experience water outages, according to the report.
Traffic may be affected in the area of the Cherry Tree Shopping Center.

The outage could last approximately six to eight hours, county officials said after 4 p.m. Friday.
