HCPSS Updates Weather Call For Dec. 16

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Public schools will be closed Monday, Dec. 16, in Howard County. The Howard County Public School System initially announced a delay Monday morning but said officials would reevaluate the plan by 7:30 a.m.

Now, all Howard County public schools are closed Monday, Dec. 16.

While schools will be closed for students, school offices will open late, with liberal leave in effect, officials said in a statement after 7:15 a.m.

After-school and evening activities involving Howard County Public School System staff and students are canceled, and so are any community-sponsored events in school buildings.
