What's Open, Closed in Howard County on Labor Day?

Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 1, and while it may be a federal holiday, parking meters aren’t taking the day off in Howard County; all parking regulations and fees will be in effect, according to a statement from Howard County government.

No trash, recycling or yard waste collection will occur on Labor Day. For the rest of the week, pickup will be on a sliding schedule, pushing curbside collection back by one day. See the schedule for details.
