Woman Assaulted During Home Invasion: Howard County Police

A woman reported being assaulted by a man who broke into her Elkridge home last week. Two other homes were burglarized last week, HCPS says.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Two Howard County homes were burglarized last week and in a third incident, a woman was assaulted after a man broke into her home, police say.

On June 13 sometime between 8 a.m. and 9:15 p.m., a home located in the 10400 block of Gramercy Place in Columbia was broken into. Nothing was reported stolen. That same day, between 2 and 7:30 p.m., a home located in the 10600 block of Breezewood Drive, Woodstock, was broken into by shattering a sliding glass door. Cash, jewelry and other items were reported stolen, according to police.

Then on June 13 around 4:30 p.m., a woman reported her home being broken into and a man assaulting her. Nothing was reported stolen from the home, which is located in the 7600 block of Mandrake Court, Elkridge. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.
