Young Professional Network Of The Year Named By HoCo Chamber

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Mark Cruz, business development account executive for Tower Federal Credit Union, has been named the Young Professional Network of Howard County of the Year by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce. The recognition is part of the chamber’s annual Awards for Chamber Excellence, which recognizes businesses and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their field and improved the business community in general.

"The YPN of the Year award is given annually to an individual that has served both the chamber and Howard County community in an extraordinary way,” Leonardo McClarty, president/CEO of the Howard County Chamber, said. “The YPN program continues to grow each and every year and its growth is due to people like Mark Cruz who unselfishly give their time and talents to the chamber."

Cruz has been a volunteer for YPN since April 2017. He has served as celerate chair, a member of the sponsor committee and is currently vice chair. He has also served as Young Professional Chair for the Marketing and Business Development Council at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
