5 Teens Try To Rob Crofton Man's Scooter: Police
Anne Arundel County Police say five teenagers tried to steal a Crofton man's scooter Wednesday.

CROFTON, MD — Anne Arundel County Police say five teenagers tried to steal a Crofton man's scooter Wednesday. The group accosted the victim just after 4 p.m. in the area of Pearl Avenue and Price Road in Crofton.
The victim told police that while he was riding his motor scooter in the area he was approached by five suspects who tried to knock him off the scooter and steal it. He was able to flee from the robbers with his motor scooter, and the suspects ran from the scene. Numerous officers, including a canine unit, searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
The victim was not hurt during the robbery attempt, police said.

Authorities describe the suspects as five males in their late teens who were wearing dark clothes.
