American Express OPEN Names FirstPic, Inc. 2014 Government Contractor of the Year

Gambrills, MD – FirstPic, Inc., a certified small business entity offering a broad range of project management consulting services throughout the country, today announced that the company has been nationally recognized as 2014 Government Contractor of the Year by American Express OPEN, as part of the OPEN for Government Contracting (OGC) program.

The 2014 OPEN Forum: Government Contracts (OGC) Awards, launched in 2009, is a national initiative designed to connect small business owners of all kinds and at every level to government contracting opportunities, which are an often-overlooked revenue stream. This annual award recognizes stand-out small business owners from across the country for their outstanding achievements in government contracting. FirstPic, Inc. accepted the award in January 2015 at the American Express OPEN Forum: Government Contracting event that took place at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia.

FirstPic, Inc. first opened its doors in 2001 and specializes in project management consulting services, offering a wide range of products and solutions to schools, non-profit organizations and government agencies at the state and federal level. The company works with a number of federal agencies, including contracts with multiple offices of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
