ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Four new storefronts have signed on to open at a Gambrills shopping center in Anne Arundel County, officials said Tuesday.
The new stores — J. Crew Factory, Miniso, Quickway Hibachi and the Wonder food hall — will open at The Village at Waugh Chapel on 1326 Main Chapel Way in Gambrills.
Wonder is expected to open in October, a representative told Patch.
An opening date for J. Crew Factory, Miniso or Quickway Hibachi was not detailed by Urban Edge Properties, which acquired the shopping center in 2024.
The four stores will occupy a total of 23,791 square feet of space, bringing the center's occupancy rate to 97%.
Officials said each of the storefronts will take over spaces that amount to the following coverage:
"These leases reflect the strong demand we're seeing from high-quality retailers and restaurants seeking well-located shopping centers," Kyle Irwin, senior director of leasing for Urban Edge, said in a statement.
"Together, these additions broaden the property's retail and dining mix, strengthen its appeal as a community destination and position The Village at Waugh Chapel for continued growth."
The new Wonder site will serve as the third Wonder to arrive in the county, with locations in Annapolis and Glen Burnie.

J. Crew Factory's opening will mark the brand's third storefront in Anne Arundel County as Miniso marks its second expansion.
Quickway Hibachi's opening at The Village at Waugh Chapel will be its fifth in the county.
