Arundel High School Marching Band Begins Fall Competition Series
The Arundel High School Marching Band is gearing up for its 2015 season - performing this Saturday in the first of seven competitions.
The Arundel High School Marching Band is gearing up for its 2015 season. The band, under the direction of Ian Burns, has performed at two home football games and will begin its fall competitive season this Saturday, September 26, at the U.S. Bands Marine Corps Invitational in Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis.
This year’s 2015 field show is futuristic and riveting; “Glitch” is one you don’t want to miss! “A Glitch is a short-lived fault in a system. It is often used to describe a transient fault that corrects itself, and is therefore difficult to troubleshoot...” Watch as the chaos and fun unfolds!
When asked about the 2015 Arundel Marching Band Season Mr. Burns stated, “It has been a strong start to the season and is great to have a bigger band with more students than we have in the last 5 years. The students are hardworking, sound better than ever and I am excited to see some great performance this fall!”
