A Deal... the Ladies Don't Want to Miss!

Last year, I recieved a spa gift card which I ended up using at Cuticles Natural Nail Salon in Crofton. It was my first time there and my first time getting a no-chip manicure. I can simply sum the experience up with the word amazing.

Cuticles is a small, intimate salon located on Rte. 3 N (across from the Crofton triangle area) that cuts back on water and chemicals, being as eco-friendly as possible while still making your nails look great. The owner, Kathy is very friendly and may very likely be the one performing your service.

If you haven't had one, no-chip manicures may be one of the best things to happen in the nail care industry. Layers of gel of your color are applied, then dried under UV lights. You can skip the 10 minutes under the dryer on your way out without worrying about bumping your polish, and the color lasts about 2 weeks - even for people like me who are constantly working with their hands. These manis have made it through scrubbing dishes and all the other household chores that have us scowling when we realize our fresh polish isn't so fresh anymore.

So, let me step off of my soapbox and share the deal with you all! My visits to Cuticles are normally few because they don't usually fit in with my frugality, but Kathy often offers some nice deals via social media and some of my favorite saving sites. This morning, I was thrilled to see in my inbox that she is offering TWO of these no-chip manis for $40 (the price of just one normally - and even at the "cheaper" salons, I've never seen these offered for less than $35) via LivingSocial.
