Lets begin with the most important meal of the day....can you guess? no,no,no not dessert. hehe BREAKFAST! It is absolutely a must if you are looking to shed a few pounds but most importantly feel better and have energy all day long. When I ask former clients, what do you eat for breakfast? most say coffee, latte, nothing. STOP right there! You must eat something after 8 hours of not eating while you sleep. Break the FAST. You want to jump-start the metabolism for the rest of the the day not slow it down. So here are some of my favorite breakfast's...and don't tell me I don't have time in the morning...well make it the night before. I do this when I know I am in a time crunch in the morning. No more excuses.
My personal Favorite Breakfast is a Protein Pancake....OMG you so have to try this and see for yourself. I know it sounds strange and maybe a little gross but don't knock it till you try it.

4 egg whites
1-2 scoops protein powder (I use Beverly International Vanilla...by far the best tasting protein ever! just my opinion)

a little water
1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
Mix all of the ingredients together (see pictures below) and cook in a saute pan. What I do is cook the bottom in the pan and then cook the top under the broiler. Can you say Yummy.
Serve with Light Agave instead of sugary syrup or I just put some spray butter on it and eat up.

Other ideas for breakfast are; eggs, oatmeal, veggie omelette, Ezekiel bread with nut butter (toast the bread it's hearty). Hey I even have last nights left over meatloaf....it doesn't matter just eat something. Not a donut please...grab some protein and complex carbs and see how your energy soars throughout the day and cravings go away.
These are just some of my personal favorites I recommend to jump-start for bikini season.
