Workout while the Kids Play Ball

Outdoors Body Weight Workout Program

So the kids are practicing for there next game on the field, what do you do? Well you can always watch and cheer them on, or how about get in a workout while you are there?  Below is a program that you can do with just your own body weight.

 

5 min fast paced run (run the field back and forth several times)

20 alternating lunges, each leg

20 vertical jumps

1 min high knee run in place

1 min jumping jacks

1 min mountain climbers

40 squats

12 switch lunges, each leg

20 tricep dips, find a bench or step

15 step-ups, each leg

50 crunches

20 pushups

Repeat 2-3 times

5 min walk for cool down

I personally love workout outside this time of year. The cool breeze and sunshine feel amazing not to mention breathing in the crisp fresh air.
