County's Largest Farmers' Market Holds Grand Opening April 15
Organizers say 50 vendors are confirmed for the new Crofton Farmers' Market, which also features a Kids Zone.

Anne Arundel County’s largest farmers’ market will hold a grand opening from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, according to a news release.
The Crofton Farmers’ Market has 50 vendors already confirmed to participate at its official location, Maryland Route 3 North and Davidsonville Road with plenty of parking surrounding the area. The unique market only allows the manufacturers of the product to present them to the public.

“What’s more,” noted Crofton Farmers’ Market Manager Chad Houck, “we are dedicated to bringing a tremendous assortment of the highest quality, local produce, meats, dairy, breads, flowers, specialty foods, collectibles and crafts directly to where we call home – Crofton, Maryland.”
Houck said the Crofton Farmers’ Market will be much more than a weekly shopping stop. “With the vendors we’re working with, Crofton Farmers’ Market will actually be a Wednesday afternoon destination for the entire family.”

The market will feature a Kids Zone, with specific vendors geared toward a younger clientele, including face painting, balloon twisting and free kids crafts.
Showcased food vendors will include Greek on the Street, All Fired Up, Frankie Falafel, C&JDs Stand and Shore Thing Shellfish.
