Critically Acclaimed APOSTLE Comes to Crofton January 10, 2016 at 7pm!

A multi-media, dramatic production based on the Apostle Paul's epic journey found in Acts, by nationally acclaimed actor, Brad Sherrill.

Apostle is Brad Sherrill’s riveting 2015 performance based on Paul’s epic journey found in Acts along with many of the most inspirational moments from Paul’s Letters. Apostle is also presented with a beautiful new multimedia design featuring original videography captured in 2015 by Brad’s team at various Paul sites throughout Turkey and Greece.

It took nearly five months for Atlanta-based actor Brad Sherrill to memorize all 20,000 words of The Gospel of John. He had plans to present it just once at his home church in Atlanta. But since 2001 Sherrill has performed John’s gospel over 600 times off –Broadway and in professional theaters and churches throughout the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland. On January 10, 2016 at 7pm, Sherrill will present his newest adaptation and live performance of Apostle, based on the life and letters of Paul from the New Testament at Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church in Crofton. Apostle, which premiered in September 2015, is currently on a U.S. tour of churches throughout seven states.

Sherrill, a 25-year member of the Georgia Shakespeare theater company in Atlanta, now devotes eight months of the year to the ongoing U.S. tour of his faith-based theater work. Apostle, which includes an original 2015 visual presentation from various Paul-related sites throughout Greece and Turkey, was created by his collaborator and multimedia designer Mark Hickman. Apostle is Sherrill’s fifth live theatrical offering based on biblical texts. He also recently premiered his original adaptation of Red Letter Jesus, based on Jesus’ words found in the synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke at Theatre in the Square (Atlanta, 2012) and at Provision Theater (Chicago, 2013.)
