Crofton Farmers Market Runs Now Through October

CROFTON, MD – Fresh produce, homemade breads and desserts, and an array of other delicacies await visitors to the Crofton Farmers Market that runs now through Oct. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday. More than 50 specialty farm, food, and arts and crafts vendors are on hand at the market, weather permitting. New this year is a mushroom and micro-green farm. Additional fresh seafood options are part of the 2019 lineup and two juice bars will take turns offering their delicious goods to shoppers.

There also are food trucks offering a variety of culinary options. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy a multitude of options including shaved ice, cups of cookie dough, chocolates, fudge, and pies. Different adult beverages will be available, too. Children at the farmers market can enjoy face painting and different activities. There’s also live entertainment throughout the event. The farmers market is held at the Crofton Country Club at 1691 Crofton Pkwy.
