Crofton Sex Offender Pleads Guilty To Coercing Girl Into Sex Acts
A Crofton sex offender has pleaded guilty to enticing a 13-year-old girl to make sexually explicit images and threatening her.

CROFTON, MD — A Crofton sex offender pleaded guilty Wednesday to enticing a 13-year-old girl to engage in sexually explicit acts and threatening to post the photos of her online. Authorities say Piere Ceradoy, 36, of Crofton, also threatened to kill the girl and her family; he pleaded guilty to coercion and enticement of a minor.
A federal grand jury indicted Ceradoy in May 2017 on charges of production and advertisement of child pornography, coercion and enticement, cyberstalking, transfer of obscene material, and for engaging in this conduct while a registered sex offender, according to a news release.
According to the seven-count indictment, and information presented at a detention hearing, Ceradoy met a 13-year-old girl on social networking apps in the spring of 2016, within months of being released from prison in Washington for his conviction on attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.

The victim told Ceradoy she was 13, and he immediately initiated sexually explicit discussions. Ceradoy repeatedly enticed the girl to take photographs and stream live videos of herself engaging in sexually explicit conduct and send those images and videos to Ceradoy. Authorities say that during the exchanges Ceradoy threatened to post the explicit photos online and to send them to the victim's family.
Prosecutors say Ceradoy also sent images and videos of himself engaged in sexually explicit conduct to the girl.

In 2014 he was twice convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, sexual abuse, and abusive sexual conduct involving a minor. While Ceradoy was contacting the recent victim he was on parole for a sex offense conviction in the state of Washington, and was registered as a sex offender.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Ceradoy and prosecutors have agreed that if a judge accepts his plea agreement, Ceradoy will be sentenced to 25 years in prison and will be placed on supervised release for life. Sentencing is scheduled for May 25. Ceradoy remains in custody pending sentencing.
