Dogfish Head Alehouse Partnering with Alzheimer's Association for Anne Arundel Walk to End Alzheimer's, Oct. 25
Signature Event To Raise Critically Needed Funds for Alzheimer's Care, Support and Research

TIMONIUM, Md. – Over 1,000 people are expected to gather for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, Sunday, Oct. 25, (rain or shine) at Susan Campbell Park. After working up their appetites during the 2-mile walk through downtown Annapolis, they can enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by Dogfish Head Alehouse.
All registered walkers can dine on All Beef Hotdogs, Pulled BBQ Pork (choice of Carolina sauce or Kansas City Sauce), House Cooked Potato Chips and Cole Slaw.
Every walker that raises $500 or more will have exclusive access to the Dogfish Head Alehouse Champions Village, which will feature the DFH Infused Bratwurst (served on a pretzel roll), Alehouse Mac and Cheese with Veggies, Jambalaya over Rice (no seafood or shellfish), Sauteed Green Beans, a Bread and Cheese Display a Fruit Display. This special VIP area also will house the Dogfish Head Beer Garden, where walkers age 21 and up can choose from 16 oz. servings of Namaste and Punkin Ale.

Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. It offers an opportunity to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and how to get involved with this critical cause, from advocacy and clinical studies enrollment, to support programs and services.
Registration begins at 11 a.m., when participants can drop off donations, pick up t-shirts, take team photos, decorate posters and Promise Garden flowers and enjoy live music by local band, The Norwood Project.

Following a ceremony focusing on the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and honoring those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, the 2-mile walk will commence at noon. Everyone is encouraged to stay after for lunch, as well as well fun activities for the family, including the Kids’ Corner.
Walk participants can register as individuals or teams by visiting alz.org/walk. Registration is free and those who raise at least $100 will receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s t-shirt. Those who raise at least $500 will receive a Grand Champions medal and Grand Champions club T-shirt, along with access to the Dogfish Head Alehouse Champions Village.
