The 24th Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival will take place at Annapolis City Dock, which is the actual site of Kunta Kinte's arrival to America in 1767. Coordinated by Kunta Kinte Celebrations, Inc., this annual festival raises an awareness of the African-American heritage and the common challenges encountered by all ethnic groups striving to preserve their culture. Various crafts, children's activities and entertainment will be part of the festival.
