Dancing Through South Africa with Lesole's Dance Project at Crofton Branch Library

Come out and enjoy this fast-paced and fascinating look at traditional and modern African dance styles. The show highlights the role of dance in understanding and accepting people of different backgrounds and cultural traditions.

Lesole Maine and his troupe will perform these three dance experiences: traditional Zulu/tribal dance, Gumboot (which originated in the gold mines of South Africa) and modern social/hip-hop dance known as Pantsula.

This event is for families and all ages. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
